Why this product

Where NutraHerbal Amla Juice sits in the market

If you are launching a juice range, start here. Amla needs no explanation to any Indian customer, the raw material is abundant, and the margin at a 500 ml price point is comfortable. It is also the SKU that teaches you your own supply chain: once you can land amla juice reliably, every other juice in this list is a variation on the same logistics.

Key ingredients

What it is built on

Amla

Emblica officinalis

Cold-pressed fruit juice; naturally high in vitamin C.

Benefits for your brand

What this SKU does for the business

Written for a brand owner deciding what to manufacture, not as consumer marketing copy, and without health claims we cannot stand behind.

01

Zero category education required

Amla is in every Indian household's vocabulary, as a pickle, a murabba, a churna or a juice. You are choosing between brands in the customer's mind, not introducing a new idea, and that halves your content burden.

02

The cheapest juice to make well

Amla is seasonally abundant and grown widely in India, so raw-material cost is low and supply is dependable. For a first juice SKU that is exactly what you want while you are still learning your own demand curve.

03

Vitamin C gives you a label nutrient

Amla is naturally rich in vitamin C, which lets the label carry a recognised nutrient claim rather than relying only on traditional-use wording. That is unusual among herbal juices and worth using.

04

Anchors a four-juice starter range

Amla, aloe vera, giloy and wheatgrass is the standard opening set for an Indian juice brand. Together they cover immunity, digestion and daily wellness, and they share the same bottling line and carton format.

Market research

What the demand actually looks like

Our read of this category from manufacturing for it. Price bands and volumes are indicative planning ranges for your own costing, not audited market data, and not a quotation.

Demand & seasonality

The highest-volume herbal juice in India by a clear margin, with a winter lift when amla is in season and immunity interest peaks.

Search & language

Very large Hindi volume ("amla juice ke fayde", "amla juice peene ka tarika") and solid English volume. Comparison queries against aloe vera juice are common and worth a dedicated article.

Who buys it

Adults 30–60 buying for the household, plus a younger segment buying it for hair and skin reasons rather than immunity. Price-aware and strongly brand-loyal once settled.

Indicative price band

Indicative retail positioning sits in the ₹200–₹450 band for 500 ml and ₹300–₹650 for 1 L. Treat as a planning range, not a quotation.

Competitive picture

Dominated by two or three very large brands at low prices. Do not compete on price. Compete on cold-pressed processing, no added sugar, and an honest brix statement on the label, all three are checkable and most competitors avoid them.

Questions we actually get

Before you place the order

Can you supply it without preservatives?

Only with a shorter shelf life and a cold chain, which almost no Indian distribution model supports. The practical answer for shelf-stable retail is a permitted class II preservative within FSSAI limits, declared on the label.

Is a sugar-free version possible?

The standard product carries no added sugar at all, amla is tart, and sweetening it is a choice some brands make for palatability. We can supply both; the unsweetened version sells better to the health-led buyer.

What should we watch for in the specification?

Juice percentage and whether it is pressed or reconstituted from concentrate. Those two lines are where cheap competitors cut corners, and stating yours plainly is a genuine differentiator.
