Giloy
Tinospora cordifolia
Stem juice; the classical amrita rasayana.
500 ml / 1 L, stem extract, unsweetened
Giloy stem juice, the herb that went from obscure to household in a single year, and still carries that recognition.

Giloy was a specialist Ayurvedic herb until 2020, when it became one of the most searched health terms in India. Demand has settled well below the peak but far above where it started, and the recognition has stuck. For a brand building an immunity range, giloy is the ingredient customers actively look for by name.
Tinospora cordifolia
Stem juice; the classical amrita rasayana.
Written for a brand owner deciding what to manufacture, not as consumer marketing copy, and without health claims we cannot stand behind.
Search interest in giloy rose dramatically in 2020 and has not returned to its old baseline. Customers know the name, which means the product sells on recall rather than on explanation.
Giloy is amrita in the classical texts, one of the most highly regarded rasayana herbs. That lineage matters to practitioners and to older customers, and it supports a premium over a generic immunity juice.
Demand climbs through the monsoon and again in winter, when seasonal illness is top of mind. Two predictable peaks a year make stock planning straightforward.
Giloy–tulsi is the most natural blend in this range and sells better than either alone in some channels. It costs almost nothing to add as a second SKU once giloy is running.

Our read of this category from manufacturing for it. Price bands and volumes are indicative planning ranges for your own costing, not audited market data, and not a quotation.
Well above pre-2020 levels and stable, with peaks through the monsoon and in winter. Institutional and government-tender demand also exists in this category.
Hindi volume is very large ("giloy ke fayde", "giloy ras kaise piye") and still easier to rank for than its size suggests. English volume is smaller and more research-led.
Adults 30–60, family purchasers, and a meaningful practitioner-recommended segment. Trust in the classical name does a lot of the selling.
Indicative retail positioning sits in the ₹220–₹450 band for 500 ml. Treat as a planning range.
Every major Ayurvedic brand launched a giloy product in 2020 and many are now thin or discontinued. There is room for a well-made one with a stated stem-juice percentage.
It has a long traditional record of daily use, but there have been case reports raising liver-safety questions in specific circumstances. Our label advises a defined course rather than indefinite use and tells customers with liver conditions to consult a doctor. We consider that the responsible position.
Stem. The classical preparations use the stem, and it is where the recognised constituents are concentrated. Leaf material is cheaper and we do not recommend it.
Usually yes. It appeals to a slightly different customer, carries a modest premium, and shares all of the same production setup.
