Why this product

Where Optimo 360 sits in the market

Eye care used to be a product for people over sixty. Screen time has changed that completely: the fastest-growing part of this audience is now twenty-somethings with dry, tired eyes after nine hours at a monitor. Optimo 360 is built to address both ends, classical triphala for the traditional buyer, lutein and zeaxanthin for the screen-fatigue buyer.

Key ingredients

What it is built on

Lutein & zeaxanthin

Marigold-derived carotenoids

The internationally recognised macular nutrients.

Triphala

Three-fruit classical blend

The classical Ayurvedic eye-care formulation.

Bilberry

Vaccinium myrtillus

Anthocyanin-rich extract, familiar from global eye products.

Saptamrit lauh

Classical formulation

Traditional Ayurvedic preparation for eye health.

Benefits for your brand

What this SKU does for the business

Written for a brand owner deciding what to manufacture, not as consumer marketing copy, and without health claims we cannot stand behind.

01

Screen fatigue created a new audience

Remote work and phone-heavy lives have pushed eye strain into the twenties and thirties. A category that used to be entirely senior-focused now has a large, young, digitally reachable segment, and most incumbent brands are still only talking to the old one.

02

Lutein at a dose that matches the research

Most international eye formulations use 10 mg of lutein with 2 mg of zeaxanthin, and we match that. Using the recognised ratio means your product stands up to comparison by a customer who has read the studies.

03

Triphala bridges the two audiences

Triphala is the classical eye formulation and needs no explanation to an older Indian customer, while lutein speaks to the younger one. One label, two credible stories, no contradiction.

04

Corporate wellness is a real channel

Companies with large screen-based workforces buy eye-health products for employee wellness programmes. That bulk channel barely exists for most of this catalogue but is genuinely available here.

05

Completes a senior range

Eye, joint, heart and prostate together make a coherent offer for older customers. Brands selling to that demographic convert much better with a complete set.

06

Low competition in the hybrid space

The Indian shelf has classical eye drops and churnas at one end and imported lutein capsules at the other. A well-priced hybrid tablet sits in a surprisingly empty middle.

Market research

What the demand actually looks like

Our read of this category from manufacturing for it. Price bands and volumes are indicative planning ranges for your own costing, not audited market data, and not a quotation.

Demand & seasonality

Growing from two directions at once: an ageing population at one end and screen fatigue among young adults at the other. Little seasonality.

Search & language

English queries are nutrient-led ("lutein for eyes", "best eye supplement"); Hindi queries are symptom-led ("aankhon ki roshni badhane ke upay", "aankhon me jalan"). The Hindi volume is large and poorly served.

Who buys it

Two segments with little overlap: 50+ buyers concerned about age-related vision change, and 22–35 screen workers with eye strain. Entirely different creative, same SKU.

Indicative price band

Indicative retail positioning for 60 tablets sits in the ₹550–₹1,100 band. Lutein is the main cost driver. Treat as a planning range.

Competitive picture

Imported lutein brands hold the premium end, classical products the traditional end. The hybrid middle is open, and the screen-fatigue angle in Hindi is almost entirely unclaimed.

Questions we actually get

Before you place the order

Can we claim it improves eyesight?

No. Eye wellness, visual comfort and the recognised role of lutein in macular health are the defensible positions. A claim to improve vision or correct refractive error is a medicinal claim.

Is saptamrit lauh acceptable for export?

It is an iron-containing classical preparation and faces restrictions in some markets, so we usually substitute it in export SKUs. Confirm your destinations early.

Should we target screen fatigue or seniors?

Start with screen fatigue if you are a digital-first brand, the audience is cheaper to reach, converts faster and is almost unserved in Hindi. Add the senior messaging once you have the content foundation.

Can you supply a lutein-free classical version?

Yes, a triphala and saptamrit lauh product is much cheaper to make and files more easily as an Ayurvedic proprietary medicine. Some clients sell both at different price points.
