Why this product

Where NutraHerbal Pigmentation Correction Cream sits in the market

Pigmentation, melasma and dark spots are a genuine, specific concern with real actives behind them, and they are entirely distinct from skin whitening, which we will not help market. Positioning around even tone and dark spots gives you a serious skincare product with a defensible claim set and a customer who will use it for months.

Key ingredients

What it is built on

Niacinamide

Vitamin B3

The best-evidenced tone-evening active.

Kojic acid

Kojic dipalmitate

Established pigmentation active.

Liquorice

Glycyrrhiza glabra

Classical mulethi; traditional skin-brightening herb.

Vitamin C

Ethyl ascorbic acid

Stable vitamin C derivative.

Benefits for your brand

What this SKU does for the business

Written for a brand owner deciding what to manufacture, not as consumer marketing copy, and without health claims we cannot stand behind.

01

Correction, not whitening

Dark spots and uneven tone are specific, addressable concerns. Framing the product that way is both honest and, in our view, the only version of this category worth building a brand on.

02

Niacinamide at a meaningful level

5% is the concentration the research and the market have settled on. It is a real inclusion rather than a label decoration, and informed customers check.

03

Classical herbs alongside modern actives

Mulethi and manjistha are the traditional Indian skin-brightening herbs. Pairing them with niacinamide gives one label two kinds of credibility.

04

Long courses and real retention

Pigmentation improves slowly over months. That makes for a long, predictable reorder cycle if the product actually works.

Market research

What the demand actually looks like

Our read of this category from manufacturing for it. Price bands and volumes are indicative planning ranges for your own costing, not audited market data, and not a quotation.

Demand & seasonality

Large and growing, with a modest lift before wedding season.

Search & language

Very large volume in both languages ("pigmentation kaise hataye", "dark spots removal cream", "niacinamide benefits").

Who buys it

Women 22–45 predominantly, increasingly ingredient-literate and comparing active percentages between labels.

Indicative price band

Indicative retail positioning sits in the ₹350–₹900 band for 30 g. Treat as a planning range.

Competitive picture

Crowded with active-led D2C skincare brands. The Ayurvedic herb addition and honest positioning are the differentiators.

Questions we actually get

Before you place the order

Can we market this as a fairness cream?

No. We will not manufacture skin-whitening positioning. Pigmentation correction and even tone are the available, honest and entirely sufficient claims.

Should it include sunscreen?

Sun protection genuinely matters for pigmentation, but combining SPF into a treatment cream complicates both the formulation and the regulatory position. We recommend a separate sunscreen and saying so in your content.

Hydroquinone?

No. It is restricted in cosmetics in many markets and prescription-only in others. We will not formulate with it for an over-the-counter product.
