Saffron
Crocus sativus
Kesar; the classical Indian radiance ingredient.
50 g, daily brightening moisturiser with saffron and vitamin C
A daily brightening moisturiser with saffron, manjistha and vitamin C, radiance positioning, explicitly not fairness.

The fairness-cream market in India is enormous and we will not build for it. This product is the alternative: a daily brightening moisturiser positioned around radiance, hydration and even tone. That is a legitimate, growing segment, and increasingly the one younger Indian customers actually want.
Crocus sativus
Kesar; the classical Indian radiance ingredient.
Ethyl ascorbic acid
Stable brightening derivative.
Rubia cordifolia
Classical skin-purifying herb.
Sodium hyaluronate
Hydration, which is what radiance actually looks like.
Written for a brand owner deciding what to manufacture, not as consumer marketing copy, and without health claims we cannot stand behind.
We decline whitening positioning. Radiance, hydration and even tone are honest, legally safe, and increasingly what the younger Indian customer actually asks for.
Kesar carries genuine cultural weight as a beauty ingredient and supports a premium price in a way that a generic brightening cream cannot.
Well-hydrated skin looks brighter. Building the product on hyaluronic acid as well as actives means it delivers a visible result honestly.
A face moisturiser is used twice a day and replaced monthly, which is a far quicker cycle than a treatment product.

Our read of this category from manufacturing for it. Price bands and volumes are indicative planning ranges for your own costing, not audited market data, and not a quotation.
Very large, growing, with a pronounced lift before wedding season.
Enormous volume in both languages ("glowing skin cream", "chehre par nikhar lane ki cream"). The honest-radiance angle is growing fast.
Women 20–40 predominantly, with a growing male segment. Social-media-led and increasingly sceptical of fairness marketing.
Indicative retail positioning sits in the ₹300–₹900 band for 50 g. Treat as a planning range.
Dominated by FMCG fairness brands that are losing cultural ground. The radiance position is where the category is moving.
No. We will not manufacture skin-whitening positioning, and we will decline the artwork. Radiance and even-tone products sell well and we will help you build those instead.
Saffron is extraordinarily expensive, so that is a genuine inclusion rather than a trace. We will state the percentage rather than just putting a flower on the pack.
Sun protection matters a great deal for tone. We recommend a separate sunscreen rather than a combined product, and saying so plainly in your content.
