Documentation is where new brands get caught out. A product-approval application or a marketplace listing will ask for files in a particular format, and discovering you do not have them after the batch is made is a slow and expensive problem. We supply the manufacturing-side documentation as part of the order, in the formats these processes expect, and we will tell you plainly which parts remain yours to file.
What ships with every batch
A certificate of analysis for the finished product, the batch manufacturing record reference, and the per-unit composition sheet in the layout product-approval applications expect. Heavy-metal, microbiology and pesticide-residue reports are available on request and are standard on export orders.
We also supply our own licence copies, GMP documentation and plant details, which is what a marketplace, a distributor or an institutional buyer will ask for when they onboard you as a supplier.
Which route to file under, and why it matters
A product can often be filed as a food supplement under FSSAI or as an Ayurvedic proprietary medicine under the relevant AYUSH authority, and the choice changes the label format, the permitted wording, the approval process and the timeline. A vitamin-and-mineral blend at RDA levels normally goes the FSSAI route. A classical formulation with recognised Ayurvedic herbs may be better as a proprietary medicine.
This is the single most consequential early decision and it is worth getting advice on. We will tell you how we see it for a given composition, and we will say when you need a regulatory consultant rather than our opinion, which, for anything unusual or for export, you usually do.
What stays your responsibility
Your FSSAI licence, your product approvals, your trademark, your GST registration and your label claims. We cannot file these for you and a manufacturer who says they can is overpromising, these are brand-owner obligations by design.
What we can do is make sure the technical documentation you need in order to file is complete, accurate and in your hands before you need it, rather than being chased for it mid-application.
Export documentation
Export adds destination-specific labelling, a certificate of free sale or phytosanitary certificate depending on the market and product, additional residue and contaminant testing, and in many cases organic certification. Some markets also want real-time rather than accelerated stability data, which is a matter of months.
Tell us your destination markets at the start. An export SKU is often formulated differently from a domestic one, certain bhasma and iron-containing classical preparations face restrictions abroad, and it is far cheaper to design around that than to reformulate after a shipment is rejected.
