Reviewed for accuracy and claims compliance: Claims and compliance review
Label padhne ka ek lamba tareeka hai, ingredient list, part used, standardisation percentage, serving size. Woh zaroori hai aur humne uspar alag likha hai.
Lekin ek chhota tareeka bhi hai, aur woh ulta kaam karta hai: kuch lines dikh jaayein toh baaki padhne ki zaroorat nahi rehti.
Yeh woh list hai. Har line ke saath yeh bhi ki woh red flag kyun hai, kyunki “mat kharido” se zyada kaam ki baat hai “yeh line jo bata rahi hai woh yeh hai”.
Yeh general jaankari hai, doctor ki salah nahi. Kisi bimari ke ilaaj ke liye doctor se milein, aur prescribed dawaiyan apne mann se band na karein.
1. Kisi bimari ka naam
“Diabetes ke liye”, “sugar jad se khatam”, “arthritis cure”, “thyroid control”, “PCOD solution”, “piles ka ilaaj”
Yeh sabse pehla aur sabse saaf flag hai.
Kyunki jo product bimari theek karne ka claim karta hai, woh us claim se dawa ban jaata hai, aur dawa ke liye alag licence, alag testing aur alag approval chahiye.
Jo brand yeh line likh raha hai, woh ya niyam nahi jaanta, ya jaanta hai aur maan nahi raha. Dono soorat mein uske baaki label par bharosa karne ka koi kaaran nahi bachta.
Aur euphemism bhi wahi line hai: “sugar patients ke liye”, “madhumeh mein laabhkari”, “joint comfort for arthritis”. Patient ka naam lena bimari ka naam lena hai.
2. “Immunity booster”
Itna aam hai ki log maante hain allowed hai. Hai nahi.
Aur usse zyada badi baat, yeh statement ka matlab hi nahi banta. Immune system ek quantity nahi hai jo upar-neeche hoti ho. Jo immune response waqai “boosted” ho, woh autoimmune problem hai, fayda nahi.
Jo cheez asli ho sakti hai woh yeh hai: product mein vitamin C ya zinc ki meaningful quantity hai, aur un nutrients ke liye tay kiya gaya nutrient-function wording maujood hai. Woh specific hota hai aur usme “booster” shabd nahi aata.
Botanicals ke liye aise approved health claims hain hi nahi. Toh “immunity booster” likhna ek option nahi hai, woh ek chunav hai.
3. “Detox”, “khoon saaf karta hai”, “toxins nikaalta hai”
Teen sawal poochiye aur line gir jaati hai.
Kaun sa toxin? Naam.
Kitna nikla? Number.
Kaise naapa? Method.
Teeno ka jawab kabhi nahi hota, kyunki claim measurable nahi hai.
“Raktashodhak” classical shabd ka galat anuvaad hai, aur “blood purifier” uska matlab nahi hai, humne uspar alag se likha hai.
4. “100% safe”, “no side effects”, “chemical-free”
Teeno factually galat hain.
Mulethi blood pressure par asar karti hai. Ashwagandha thyroid dawa ke saath dekhni padti hai. Neem pregnancy mein nahi. Giloy long-term aur liver issue mein savdhani maangti hai. Biotin blood test ke result badal deta hai.
Yeh actual cautions hain, aur hum yeh apne hi ingredient pages par likhte hain.
“Chemical-free” toh apne aap mein khaali statement hai, paani bhi ek chemical hai. Jo kehna chah rahe hain woh “synthetic additives nahi hain”, aur usse likhne ka tareeka hai: ingredient list.
Jo brand “no side effects” likhta hai, woh yeh bata raha hai ki usne safety section likhna hi nahi chaha.
5. “FSSAI approved”, “Government approved”, “ISO certified product”
Yeh misrepresentation hai, aur yeh asaani se pakda jaata hai.
Licence approval nahi hota. FSSAI number ka matlab hai business registered hai. Kisi ne aapke product ko dekhkar, uske claims padhkar mohar nahi lagayi.
“ISO certified” bhi usually unit ke liye hota hai, product ke liye nahi, aur label par product par chipka dena do alag cheezein mila dena hai.
Jo brand licence ko approval bata raha hai, woh ya samajh nahi raha ya aapko samajhne nahi de raha.
6. “Clinically proven”, bina study ke
Flag yeh nahi hai ki research ka zikr hai. Flag yeh hai ki kis cheez par.
Poochne wala sawal: study is product par thi, isi dose par? Ya kisi ingredient par, kisi aur dose par, kisi aur population mein?
Doosri soorat lagbhag hamesha hoti hai. Aur ek ingredient par 600 mg ka study, aapke 50 mg wale product ka proof nahi hai.
“Doctor recommended” bhi, kaunse doctor, kitne, aur kya likhit?
7. Before-after photo, aur transformation claims
“2 mahine mein 12 kilo”, before-after skin photos, hair regrowth ki photo series.
Teen problems ek saath: substantiate nahi kiya ja sakta, enforce kiya jaata hai, aur expectation aisi ban jaati hai jo product poori nahi karega.
Aur jahan goraapan ya fairness ka claim ho, wahan baat sirf regulation ki nahi hai.
8. Urgency aur scarcity
“Aaj hi order karein”, “sirf 50 bottle bachi hain”, “offer aaj raat khatam”.
Yeh claim nahi hai, lekin flag hai, aur ek khaas tarah ka.
Supplement ek lambi cheez hai. Asar dekhne mein hafte lagte hain, aur decision mein ek din ki jaldi se kuch nahi badalta.
Jo brand aapko sochne ka waqt nahi dena chahta, woh yeh maan raha hai ki sochne par aap nahi kharidenge.
9. “Proprietary blend”, bina quantity
Yeh claim nahi, omission hai, lekin isi list mein aata hai.
Jahan matrayein nahi likhi, wahan 450 mg sasti cheez aur 5 mg woh cheez ho sakti hai jiske liye aapne kharida.
Aur yeh “company ka secret” nahi hai, formula reverse-engineer karna kisi lab ke liye mushkil nahi hai. Quantity chhupane ka ek hi practical faida hai.
10. Dengue aur platelet
Season mein yeh line aati hai, aur yeh is poori list mein sabse khatarnaak hai.
Kyunki baaki flags paisa barbaad karte hain. Yeh waqt barbaad karti hai, aur dengue mein waqt hi ilaaj hai.
Ghar par papita patta lekar wait karna, jab platelet gir rahe hain, yeh asli nuksaan hai, regulatory nahi.
Dengue ka shaq ho toh hospital jaayein, aaj.
11. “Testosterone badhata hai”, “stamina booster”, aur uske euphemisms
Performance aur sexual health ke aas-paas ka poora euphemism set.
Magic Remedies Act ki schedule seedhe is area se judi hai, aur yeh woh category hai jahan sabse zyada undeclared dawa paayi jaati hai.
Agar koi “herbal” product bahut jaldi aur bahut zyada asar kar raha hai, toh woh achhi khabar nahi hai, woh ek sawal hai.
12. “Bachchon ki memory aur concentration badhayein”
Exam season ki line.
Substantiated nahi hai, heavily targeted hai, aur parents par guilt ka istemal karti hai.
Jo label par hona chahiye, ulta flag
Aur yeh ulta signal hai, jo zyada kaam ka hai.
Jis bottle par cautions likhi hain, woh zyada bharose layak hai, kam nahi.
Jis par standardisation percentage aur test method likha hai.
Jis par part used likha hai, “jamun ki guthli”, “ashwagandha ki jad”.
Jis par serving size saaf hai aur front panel ka number usse match karta hai.
Aur jo brand batch number ke saath test report bhej deta hai.
Yeh chaar cheezein us brand ko marketing mein kamzor banati hain. Isi liye yeh signal hain.
