Packaging choices that cause returns, ek manufacturer ki list

Jo returns aate hain unme se zyada product ke nahi, packaging ke hote hain. Aur har ek ka decision aapne order dene se pehle liya tha.

Jab koi brand hamein likhta hai ki returns badh gaye hain, pehla assumption yeh hota hai ki product mein kuch gadbad hai.

Zyadatar maamlon mein product theek hota hai. Packaging ka ek decision galat tha, aur woh decision order dene se pehle liya gaya tha, usually paise bachane ke liye.

Toh yeh list un decisions ki hai jo humne apne clients ke saath repeat hote dekhe hain, aur unka asli nateeja kya nikalta hai.

Yeh orientation hai, legal ya regulatory advice nahi. Labelling aur packaging ke niyam badalte hain. Current position kisi competent regulatory consultant se confirm karein.

1. Desiccant nikal dena

Sabse common, aur sabse zyada mehenga.

Herbal powder aur capsule moisture kheenchte hain. India mein, monsoon, coastal humidity, aur bina AC ka warehouse, yeh theoretical problem nahi hai.

Desiccant hatane se jo bachta hai woh per bottle bahut thoda hai. Aur jo complaints aati hain: capsule chipak gaye, powder patthar ban gaya, tablet ka colour badal gaya, chamcha ghoomta nahi.

Aur ek baat jo log nahi sochte: stability study desiccant ke saath run hui thi. Desiccant hata diya toh jo 24 months aapne label par chhapa hai, woh number ab kisi data se support nahi hota.

2. Induction seal skip karna

Teen alag problems ek saath.

Pehla, moisture aur oxygen andar jaate hain, toh wahi problem jo upar likhi hai.

Doosra, customer ko bharosa nahi aata. Seal ke bina bottle kholne par customer ko yeh pata nahi chalta ki pehle koi khol chuka hai ya nahi. Online selling mein yeh sabse badi complaint categories mein se ek hai.

Teesra, transit mein leak. Liquid aur juice mein seal ke bina leakage ka matlab hai poora carton kharab, sirf ek bottle nahi.

Yeh woh item hai jiske bina hum order lena pasand nahi karte, aur iska kaaran commercial nahi hai.

3. Transparent bottle, kyunki product dikhna chahiye

Marketing ka logic samajh mein aata hai. Photogenic hota hai.

Lekin light kuch ingredients ko degrade karti hai, natural pigments, carotenoids, kuch oils, aur certain vitamins. Clear PET mein rakha product shop ki khidki mein do hafte mein alag dikhne lagta hai.

Aur customer colour change ko expiry samajhta hai, chahe assay bilkul theek ho.

Beech ka raasta: amber ya opaque bottle, aur product ki photo label par, jahan woh degrade nahi hoti.

4. Bottle ka size product se bada rakhna

Yeh deliberately hota hai, shelf par bada dikhne ke liye. Aur yeh do tarah se ulta padta hai.

Pehla, customer ko slack fill dikhta hai. Aadhi khaali bottle ka matlab customer ke liye “maine thoda kharida, bada dikhaya gaya”. Ek baar ka sale ho jaata hai, repeat nahi.

Doosra, zyada headspace ka matlab zyada oxygen aur transit mein zyada movement. Tablet ek doosre se takrate hain, chipping hoti hai, powder settle hota hai.

Aur declared weight toh label par likha hai, toh bada bottle chhupa bhi nahi sakta kuch.

5. Thin shipper carton, ya shipper hi nahi

E-commerce mein yeh sabse zyada damage pay karwata hai.

Courier network mein bottle 1.5 meter se gir sakti hai, 20 kg ke neeche dab sakti hai, aur truck mein saat ghante vibrate karti hai.

Paise bachane ke liye thin board, ya void fill ke bina sirf ek carton, aur return rate seedha dikhta hai.

Jo cheezein kaam karti hain: proper burst-strength board, bottle ke hisaab se insert ya partition, void fill, aur liquid ke liye leak-proof inner bag.

6. Shrink sleeve aur wrap label ka galat chunav

Dono ka apna case hai, aur dono galat jagah use hote hain.

Wrap label: sasta, badalna aasan, lekin humidity mein kinare uthte hain aur fridge-stored ya bathroom-stored product par curl ho jaata hai. Personal care mein yeh dikhta hai.

Shrink sleeve: poori bottle cover karta hai, tamper evidence deta hai, lekin plate cost zyada hai aur chhote runs par per-unit mehenga.

Aur ek chhoti si baat jo bada farq karti hai, label adhesive. Oil-based product par normal adhesive chalta nahi. Bottle ke bahar thodi si oil aa jaaye toh label gir jaata hai, aur customer ko bina label wali bottle milti hai.

7. Expiry aur batch ki printing ko baad mein socha jaana

Yeh technically packaging nahi hai, lekin returns isi se aate hain.

Problems jo hum dekhte hain: ink jo ungli se mit jaati hai, aise jagah print jahan label ka design use dhak deta hai, dark background par dark ink, aur date format jo ambiguous hai.

Agar customer expiry padh nahi paata, woh assume karta hai ki expired hai.

Aur regulatory side bhi hai, batch number aur expiry legible hona chahiye, aur recall ki soorat mein yeh wahi cheez hai jiske sahaare aap stock identify karte hain.

8. Scoop ka maamla

Powder ka chhota aur asli issue.

Scoop na dena, customer apna chamcha use karta hai, dose galat hoti hai, aur “asar nahi hua” ki complaint aati hai.

Scoop dena lekin label par uska gram weight na likhna, same problem, kyunki scoop level aur heaped mein 40% tak ka farq hota hai.

Aur scoop ko powder ke andar dabaakar bhejna, jisse customer ko use dhoondhne ke liye haath andar daalna padta hai. Contamination ka raasta, aur ek bura pehla impression.

9. Multi-pack ko tape se jod dena

Jab brand “buy 2 get 1” chalata hai aur teen bottle ko tape se baandh deta hai.

Transit mein tape chhoot jaata hai, ek bottle alag ho jaati hai, customer ko do milti hain, aur dispute aapka hai.

Sleeve ya chhota carton use karein. Cost thodi zyada hai, dispute rate bahut kam.

10. Pack ko marketing ke liye badalna, data ko bhoolkar

Yeh sabse costly hai kyunki yeh dikhta nahi.

Aapne bottle badli, ya film badli, ya desiccant hata diya, ya glass se PET par aaye. Product same hai. Lekin stability data us pack ke liye tha, is pack ke liye nahi.

Technically aapka shelf-life claim ab unsupported hai. Aur jab tak koi poochta nahi, kisi ko pata nahi chalta, aur poochne wala usually ek export buyer ya ek inspector hota hai.

Order dene se pehle ki chhoti checklist

Desiccant hai ya nahi, aur agar nahi, toh stability data us configuration ka hai? Induction seal hai. Bottle opaque ya amber hai, agar ingredient light-sensitive hai. Bottle ka volume fill ke hisaab se hai, slack fill nahi. Shipper carton ka board grade aur void fill tay hai. Liquid ke liye inner leak-proof bag. Label adhesive product ke hisaab se chuna gaya hai. Batch aur expiry ki print position, ink aur contrast dekhe gaye hain, mock-up par, artwork par nahi. Scoop hai, aur uska gram weight label par likha hai. Multi-pack sleeve mein hai, tape se nahi. Aur koi bhi pack change hone par stability dobara dekhi gayi hai.

Aur ek honest baat

Hum manufacturer hain, aur upar ki har cheez hamare quotation ko mehenga banati hai.

Toh isse shak ke saath padhiye, aur phir ek kaam kijiye jo settle kar deta hai: apne pichhle teen mahine ke returns ko do column mein baant lijiye, “product” aur “packaging”.

Jo list banegi, woh hamari baat se zyada bhari padegi.

Chhota saransh

  2. Aur har decision order dene se pehle liya gaya tha
  3. Desiccant nikalna sabse common aur sabse mehenga
  4. India mein moisture theoretical problem nahi hai
  5. Aur desiccant hatane se shelf-life claim ka data support khatam ho jaata hai
  6. Induction seal skip karna teen problems ek saath laata hai
  7. Moisture, customer ka bharosa, aur transit leak
  8. Transparent bottle photogenic hai, lekin light pigments aur oils degrade karti hai
  9. Customer colour change ko expiry samajhta hai, assay theek ho tab bhi
  10. Amber bottle lein aur product ki photo label par rakhein
  11. Bada bottle slack fill dikhata hai, ek sale, repeat nahi
  12. Zyada headspace ka matlab zyada oxygen aur tablet chipping
  13. Thin shipper e-commerce mein seedha damage cost deta hai
  14. Burst-strength board, insert, void fill, aur liquid ke liye inner bag
  15. Wrap label humidity mein curl hota hai; sleeve mehenga plate cost deta hai
  16. Oil-based product par normal adhesive label gira deta hai
  17. Expiry print mit jaaye ya dikhe na, customer expired maan leta hai
  18. Batch aur expiry recall ke waqt aapka ekmaatra tool hai
  19. Scoop na dena dose galat karwata hai
  20. Scoop ka gram weight label par likhna zaroori hai, level aur heaped mein 40% farq
  21. Scoop powder mein dabaakar na bhejein
  22. Multi-pack tape se nahi, sleeve ya carton se
  23. Pack badalne par purana stability data transfer nahi hota
  24. Aur yeh baat usually export buyer ya inspector poochta hai
  25. Print position mock-up par dekhein, artwork par nahi
  26. Order se pehle checklist bhar lein, baad mein nahi
  27. Apne returns ko “product” aur “packaging” mein baantiye, list khud bata degi
